WHO WE ARE
Mission Statement
The mission of Fire Safe Associates is to:
- Establish distribution outlets for our complete line of quality fire,
safety and haz-mat products;
- Provide a quality line of products and reasonable price while providing
services, deliveries and technical assistance to our customers;
- Create value added sales through extensive marketing and training
of both distribution sales staff and fire department personnel;
- Create a territory wide network of distribution in all market niches
including, municipal and industrial fire, fire apparatus dealers and
OEM accounts, government fire authorities and safety/police products
distribution;
- Provide demonstration and training services to all clientele, including
live training on Large Diameter and small diameter fire hose, valves,
appliances, foam products, rescue saws, PPV fans, smoke machines, nozzles
and entry tools;
- Provide demonstration products to fire authorities so they may evaluate
the product lines in the field during actual fire fighting environments;
- Represent our principle product lines at national and regional trade
shows, and work with distributor sales staff in the field;
- Represent manufacturers on industrial trade groups and committees
such as NFPA, ULIAC, IFSTA and IAFC in order to hold the principles
best interests while making the fire services job an easier and safer
one; and
- Provide consulting and expert legal services regarding the use, safety
and liability factors involved with the use of fire hose and water supply
systems.

- 1980- Became regional sales manager for Snap-tite Hose, Inc. in Southeast
US region (Lake Mary, FL) 5 years;
- 1985-Became Southern Region Sales Manager of Hydra-Shield Manufacturing
(Irving, TX) 2 years;
- 1986-Became National Sales Manager for Snap-tite Hose, Inc., Ponn
Fire Hose, National Fire Hose (Erie, PA) 9 years;
- 1995-Became National Sales Manager for AFAC-Kidde Fire Fighting (Angier,
NC) 4 years;
- 1999-Established Fire Safe Associates, an independent Manufacturers
Representative firm (Holly Springs, NC);
Committees and Accreditation:
- Served as President of FEMA (Fire Equipment Manufacturers Association)
– 2 years;
- Served on NFPA Fire Hose technical committee since 1985;
- Served on ULIAC committee since 1987; and
- Member of the following trade groups:
NFPA, IAFC, IFSTA, ULIAC, FAMA, FEMA, NAFED, NAHAD, NSAA
